About the Organization

The first mention of the Hale Family Organization was made in 1887, over 120 years ago, by Alma and Aroet Hale, sons of Jonathan Harriman Hale of Bradford, Massachusetts.  They cared deeply about collecting and preserving the records of the Hale family.

Today we continue that work, and all who have a desire to help are welcome. The HFO officers work on a volunteer basis. Our job is to do all we can to keep the genealogy of the Hale family organized and accessible for our family members. We welcome any who are interested in helping us to this end. Use the “Contact Lee” page to e-mail us with ideas or offers of help. Please use the “Family History” link above to research and add to the Hale family records.
