This is an early picture of Logan, showing the Temple in the background (dedicated by President John Taylor May 17, 1884.) This is pretty much how the Temple and surrounding area looked at the time of the "lighting of the Logan Temple" [refer to story of Logan Temple]. This was before the Temple had been wired for electricity.
