Newsflash

Our annual Hale Family Temple Day is scheduled for Saturday, February 23, 2008. As has been the tradition since 1889, we will meet in the Logan Temple to honor our ancestors.

Those who can attend, please join us at 10:45 a.m. in the cafeteria meeting room for lunch and a family meeting.  Following a short address at 11:55 a.m. by President Haslam of the Temple Presidency, we will be excused at 12:15 p.m. to prepare for the 1:00 p.m. endowment session.

If you are unable to come to the Logan Temple, please attend a temple near you. Are there other Hale family members who live nearby? Please invite them to attend with you. Please bring family names if you have them as it is not known how many cards we will have available this year.

We are currently searching for several individuals to help with the work within our Hale Family Organization. With your talents, skills, and just a few hours a month, we could do so much more!   Opportunities include writing Family History articles for the newsletter or lessons for children, assisting with the Aroet Hale book, assisting with genealogical research, managing temple work for regional areas, etc.

Logan Temple Day 2007
Written by Administrator
Saturday, 24 February 2007
Members of the Hale family met together Saturday, Feb.24, 2007 to honor our ancestors. A general meeting was held in which our current president, Lee Hale, and our past president, David S. Hale, spoke. Family members had an opportunity to meet and discuss various aspects of our family history, as well as “catch up” on current family events. We hope those who were not able to attend in Logan took an opportunity to rejoice and honor our kindred dead wherever you happened to be!
