Members of the Hale family met together Saturday, Feb.24, 2007 to honor our ancestors. A general meeting was held in which our current president, Lee Hale, and our past president, David S. Hale, spoke. Family members had an opportunity to meet and discuss various aspects of our family history, as well as “catch up” on current family events. We hope those who were not able to attend in Logan took an opportunity to rejoice and honor our kindred dead wherever you happened to be!

We are starting to compile a list of external web links which may be used to help research genealogy and family history to add to our existing records or to provide source documentation for those that we already have. Please leave a comment if you find any others with important resources.

At our last board meeting (Jan. 21, 2007), HFO board members chose to adopt a mission statement to guide us in our work. We based the wording and goals directly on documents which the original board members created.
