HFO Mission Statement

On Jan. 21, 2007, HFO board members chose to adopt a mission statement to guide us in our work. We based the wording and goals directly on documents which the original board members created. (See July 15, 2005 Newsletter for more information some of those original documents.)

The Hale Family Organization exists for the purpose of finding and documenting our ancestors. In order to do this work we research, organize and distribute information directly related to our Hale family genealogy, and organize willing individuals to help in every department of this glorious work. We also hope to inspire the current generation of Hale progeny by finding, informing, and encouraging them relative to our noble Hale family, to help in any way possible to preserve our family for all eternity. As we participate, may we always seek God’s will and direction in this great work, as our founding fathers did before us.
